There was a wonderful and colorful pile of birthday presents.
Ellie took the time to read each card...
... ...
...and carefully examine the ribbons and paper.
... and slowly and carefully examine the contents of each package.
And she didn't even mind when other became a little impatient and started helping her open things.
She certainly enjoyed being the center of attention.
